It is one of the emblematic cities of Camargue. A perfectly preserved fortified city, Aigues-Mortes is one of the must-sees of your stay in the Gard. Famous for its ramparts and its towers, it contemplates at its feet the salt marshes, which offer extraordinary postcard images. Neighboring Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, the city enjoys an exceptional exposure on the Mediterranean. Its paved streets and its architectural heritage are a real delight. The city is located 5 minutes by car from your guest house.

Saint-Laurent-d'Aigouze

Our charming guest rooms near Aigues-Mortes are nestled in the village of Saint-Laurent-d'Aigouze, a bullfighting village par excellence, recognized as the capital of Camargue bullfights. The heritage and architecture of the town are also worth a long detour.

The beaches of Camargue

They are unmissable. But it is better to be well advised, because the Camargue has exceptional beaches, wild, stretches of fine sand sometimes secret. The Espiguette Beach in Grau-du-Roi is one of the most famous. It is a kite-surfing landmark known throughout Europe.

Within a radius of 1/2 hour you will find the seaside resort of La Grande Motte, with its magnificent private beaches, Montpelier and its entirely pedestrian city center or even Nîmes, where you can discover the remains of its Roman baths and its historic center.
